If you think it would be alright, she could be Roy's brother's daughter. Her parents could have died in some sort of accident, which led her to go to Central in search of any living relatives.

@Hope: Welcome in Hope, glad to see you're interested! I would suggest posting your general idea, just to save yourself time in case I catch anything off about it from the get go, but mostly I'm just curious myself! Did you have anything in mind? Personally, I'm considering playing an Ishvalan terrorist who grew up working in an Amestiran mine and sympathizes with Drachma and a draftee who was born without an arm and raised sheep in the north.
@Sweet: To my knowledge, Mustang had no siblings, however, I suppose she could be related to him through Madame Christmas (Chris-Mustang), his paternal aunt. If she had a child prior to adopting Mustang, and they had your character, that would make them some sort of cousins I think.
And as a general thing, I would like to discourage deceased parents/orphans as a common theme in our characters. I'm sure it wouldn't be uncommon for a parent to pass while serving in the war with Drachma, so that's one thing, but people would be drafted regardless of the status of their parents, so it's not really required that they have no where else to go. That doesn't mean that they had to have had a perfect home life, but I would encourage the majority of people making characters to at least give them one!
I'm not trying to single you out, Sweet, my first inclination was to play orphans myself, and I've received some already from other players. I simply believe that giving our characters a more complex background than that will improve our experience as a whole.
